El Caleton Apartments
El Caleton is a stand alone small group of privately owned
1 and 2 bedroom apartments, set in a secluded location on the edge of an idyllic blue tidal lagoon. The complex is designed over two floors, in keeping with traditional Fuerteventurian design. Accommodation consists of both one and two bedroom apartments, which incorporate an open plan lounge and dining area, in addition to a kitchen and shower room.

The ground floor apartments have a private terrace area with easy access to the silvery white beach, while the first floor apartments have breathing views of the lagoon and beyond.

Apartment No, 3 enjoys a rooftop terrace, and while not suitable for children more than compensates for this with views of breath taking sunsets.

The apartments themselves are set in a truly sub tropical communal garden, which boasts some of the traditional Canarian plants to include the "Hibiscus" as well as the much recognised "Bougainvillea", a stroll through which can be enjoyed on the short route to the secluded beach.

The beach itself is much enjoyed by both naturalists and "bikini clad" alike, although it should be born in mind that clothing must all times be wore in and around the "apartment complex" area.

In keeping with the simplistic and secluded atmosphere the apartments themselves are simple in design providing basic living accommodation with standard cooking equipment.

Electricity is provided by means of a generator as mains electricity has not reached this quiet secluded part of Fuerteventura, as a result some restrictions occur on the use of electricity for short periods during the daytime.

El Cotillo (approximately 1km).
Just 1km along the coast is El Cotillo, a small typical fishing village and while not a large resort in itself it does provide one with a good selection of restaurants, bars and beach bars.
There are also small supermarkets, a really nice bakery, some souvenir shops, Bank and ATM facilities and of course Internet Access. Car and Bicycle hire are also available here.

El Cotillo has some of the nicest beaches amongst its many secluded, small, quiet sheltered coves. The calm waters providing safe bathing conditions for both adult and children alike.
